The Role
As Maintenance Manager / Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Leading, developing and mentoring the on-site maintenance and engineering team.
Creating a positive culture focused on safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
Acting as the main customer contact, developing strong working relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Delivering agreed KPIs for system availability, engineering performance, quality and cost.
Developing preventative and predictive maintenance strategies to maximise equipment reliability.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve system performance and operational efficiency.
Managing maintenance budgets, engineering resources and operational priorities.
Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, company procedures and engineering standards.
Monitoring engineering performance through CMMS systems, reporting and performance analysis.
Role Requirements
We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager / Engineering Manager with a strong technical background and proven leadership experience within a highly automated engineering environment.
You'll ideally possess:
Ideally Degree qualified or equivalent in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Experience within maintenance, engineering or technical services, including a minimum of three years in a management role.
Experience within automated logistics, warehousing, material handling, manufacturing, FMCG or other complex engineering environments.
Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance, reliability engineering and continuous improvement techniques.
Experience managing engineering teams, budgets, KPIs and customer relationships.
Good commercial awareness and excellent stakeholder management skills.
Experience using CMMS systems and Microsoft Office.
Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
A strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
