An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join one of the UK's leading facilities management companies on a prestigious commercial office campus in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a Lead Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) looking to combine hands-on engineering with team leadership while working on a high-profile commercial site.
As a Lead Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias), you'll oversee the day-to-day engineering operation, ensuring planned and reactive maintenance is delivered to a high standard while maintaining strong client relationships and supporting the wider engineering team.
The Role
* Lead and support a team of engineers on a flagship commercial building
* Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), reactive maintenance and electrical fault finding
* Coordinate specialist subcontractors and ensure statutory compliance
* Support permit-to-work systems, safe systems of work, shutdowns and planned projects
* Maintain high engineering standards and provide excellent client service
Plant & Equipment
* HV & LV electrical systems
* Chillers, pumps and generators
* HVAC plant, AHUs, FCUs and BMS
* Lighting, power and general building services plant
Requirements
* Electrically qualified with 18th Edition
* Strong Facilities Management or Building Services maintenance background
* Previous Lead Maintenance Engineer, Lead Engineer or Supervisory experience
* Experience managing subcontractors and client relationships
* HV knowledge desirable
* Appointed Person experience advantageous
Package
* £42,000 - £48,000 DOE
* £200 per week standby payment (1 in 4 rota)
* Appointed Person payments up to £2,500 per annum
* Free on-site parking
* Company pension
