We are looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Hackney from September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting children with additional needs and wants to play a key role in helping pupils build confidence, independence, and achieve their potential.

The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide support to pupils with additional learning needs
Work with children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Support access to lessons and classroom activities
Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and independence
Assist with personalised learning strategies and interventions
Work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to support pupil progress
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous experience working with children with SEN
Understands the importance of patience, consistency, and encouragement
Can support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
Builds strong relationships with children quickly
Has a positive, proactive, and caring approach
Is confident working as part of a supportive school team
