Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services)

An established building services consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a hybrid working basis, based out of their Leamington Spa office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical engineer to take on a senior, technically-led role, working across a varied portfolio of building services projects and playing a key part in the design and delivery process from concept through to completion.

The Role:

Leading mechanical design across a range of building services projects, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
Producing and reviewing detailed mechanical designs, calculations, and specifications
Acting as a senior technical point of contact for clients and project teams
Mentoring and supporting the development of junior engineers within the team
Coordinating with architects, electrical engineers, and other disciplines to ensure fully integrated designs
Ensuring designs comply with current building regulations and industry standardsWhat's Required:

A degree in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
Significant experience in mechanical building services design at a senior level
Strong working knowledge of relevant design software (e.g. Revit, AutoCAD, IES, Hevacomp)
Chartered status (or working towards, e.g. CIBSE) preferred
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesWhat's on Offer:

Salary of £55,000–£65,000, dependent on experience
