At Zeta, we're looking for a commercially driven Head of Fire to lead and grow the Fire side of the business, providing strategic leadership, commercial direction, and operational excellence across our Fire Risk Assessment, Consultancy, and Training services. This role focuses on driving profitable growth, developing a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional service to our customers while taking ownership of the commercial success of the business.

If you enjoy leading successful teams, developing customer relationships, identifying commercial opportunities, and shaping the future of a growing business, this is an opportunity to make a significant impact within an ambitious and ever-growing organisation.

You will play a pivotal role in leading Zeta's Fire business, taking ownership of commercial performance, operational delivery, and strategic growth. From day one, you'll work closely with colleagues across the business to strengthen customer relationships, develop new service offerings, and drive the continued success and expansion of our Fire business.

What you receive for joining us

We believe in rewarding exceptional leadership, which is why we offer an excellent package, including a performance-related bonus and a car allowance. You’ll also have access to private healthcare, an employee assistance programme including a 24/7 mental health helpline, to support your wellbeing, along with annual leave that increases by 2 days every two years of service, plus bank holidays.

Here is a look at some of the things you will be doing

Leading Zeta's Fire business, creating a high-performing culture focused on commercial growth, customer excellence, and technical quality
Driving commercial and operational performance, with responsibility for revenue growth, profitability, productivity, and the successful delivery of business objectives
Working closely with customers and the Commercial Team to identify new business opportunities, support tenders and bids, strengthen key client relationships, and expand our Fire service offering
Leading, developing, and mentoring a team of Fire Risk Assessors and technical specialists while ensuring the highest standards of compliance, quality, and service delivery

Can you show experience in some of these areas

Significant leadership experience within Fire Safety, Fire Risk Assessment, Fire Consultancy, or a related compliance or technical services environment
A proven track record of leading and developing teams of Fire Risk Assessors or similar technical professionals, creating a high-performing culture while delivering exceptional customer service
Experience managing profit and loss performance, ideally with responsibility for a £1m-£2m business unit or service line, alongside a proven ability to drive commercial growth and profitability
A commercially astute and inspirational leadership style, with the ability to influence customers, build strong stakeholder relationships, identify new business opportunities, and drive continuous improvement

If you feel you have the skills and drive to make an impact, even if you don't meet every requirement above, we'd still love to hear from you.

Zeta is a leading provider of Fire Risk Assessment, Fire Consultancy, and Fire Safety Training services, helping organisations across the UK create safer, more compliant environments. As part of the Complii Group, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of our Fire business, influence its continued growth, and play a key role in delivering outstanding service to customers nationwide
