A reputable main dealer group in Newbury, Berkshire, is seeking a skilled Panel Beater to join their busy bodyshop. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced automotive professionals to advance their career within a professional, well-equipped environment.
Key benefits:
Competitive hourly rate up to £19.50 (equating to a basic salary of £45,755) plus performance bonus
Working Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 5pm, with no weekends
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Manufacturer-approved training and ongoing career development
Modern facilities within a respected main dealer group
Long-term stability and opportunities for career progressionDuties of a Panel Beater:
Replacing or repairing damaged panels to a high standard
Planning work efficiently and ordering parts to ensure timely completion
Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and adhering to quality standards as a Panel Beater
Ensuring high standards of housekeeping and maintaining orderly work documentationRequirements of a Panel Beater:
Previous experience as a Panel Beater in an automotive bodyshop environment
NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification is essential
Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under deadlines
