A growing, fast‑paced organisation in the construction sector is looking to appoint an experienced Senior HR Advisor, ready to take the step into HR management, base at its Head Office in Winsford. With multiple regional sites and a workforce of over 160 colleagues, this is a brilliant opportunity to step into a varied, hands‑on role where you’ll shape HR delivery across a multi‑site operation.

Keeping HR policies updated and aligned with legislation

Designing and delivering training resources

Establishing and managing an apprenticeship programme

Leading HR projects including succession planning and organisational change

Coaching managers and building capability across the business

About You

You’ll bring a confident, pragmatic and approachable style, with the ability to quickly build trust and support managers in a hands‑on operational environment.

Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice

Comfortable producing HR reports and using HRIS systems

Excellent communication, coaching and relationship‑building skills

Strong problem‑solving ability with sound judgment and discretion

CIPD Level 5 or above

Experience in construction, contracting or operational/trades environments (advantageous)

Full UK driving licence

This role would suit a Senior HR Advisor ready to step up, or an established HR Manager seeking a broader, more hands‑on remit within a growing organisation
