MEP Manager – Surrey
Project: £50M Residential Development
Salary: Up to £100,000 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced MEP Manager to join a flagship £50 million residential development in Surrey. This role is ideal for a technically strong and proactive professional with a proven track record of delivering mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) services on large-scale residential projects.
About the Role
As MEP Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of all mechanical, electrical and public health services throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with the project team, consultants and specialist subcontractors, you will ensure all MEP works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
*
Manage and coordinate all MEP packages from pre-construction through to handover
*
Liaise with consultants, design teams and specialist subcontractors
*
Coordinate mechanical, electrical and public health installations
*
Monitor progress and ensure works are delivered in line with programme
*
Ensure compliance with project specifications, UK Building Regulations and Health & Safety legislation
*
Oversee testing, commissioning and final handover of all building services
*
Maintain strict quality assurance across all MEP installations
*
Identify and mitigate technical and programme risks
*
Produce regular progress reports for senior management
*
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
Requirements
*
Proven experience as an MEP Manager on large-scale residential developments
*
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical and public health systems
*
Experience managing MEP subcontractors through all project phases
*
Excellent communication and coordination skills
*
Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and compliance requirements
*
Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
*
Relevant qualification in Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
