Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm (Monday – Friday)

Salary: £24,000 – £26,000 per annum (Depending on Experience)

About the Opportunity

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded, progressive professional services business based in Poole who are looking to appoint a motivated and detail oriented IT Support Technician to join their established team.

In this vital role, you will be key to supporting the daily IT operations, ensuring internal systems run smoothly, and providing efficient, high-quality technical support to colleagues across the business. You will assist with both onsite and remote support, maintaining the organisation's IT infrastructure in line with operational and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Working as a central part of the IT support function, your day-to-day duties will include:

* Helpdesk Support: Providing responsive IT helpdesk support, troubleshooting software, hardware, phones, and printers.

* Device Deployment: Building, configuring, and deploying PCs, laptops, and other hardware devices.

* Infrastructure & Moves: Managing internal desk moves, including network patching and physical equipment setup.

* Access Administration: Administering user accounts, system profiles, and access permissions.

* Platform Support: Administering and supporting the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

* Remote Assistance: Delivering effective remote technical support for users across different company locations.

What Our Client Is Looking For

To succeed in this position, you should bring a strong technical foundation and a proactive, customer-focused approach:

* Professional Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on experience working in an IT Administration or IT Support role.

* Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft 365 administration alongside a solid understanding of hardware setup, basic networking, and general IT infrastructure.

* Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting capabilities with a logical approach to resolving technical issues.

* Communication: An excellent telephone manner and strong customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical terms clearly to non-technical users.

* Task Management: The ability to manage multiple tasks, work productively under pressure, and prioritise workloads effectively.

* Travel Requirement: A full UK driving licence and business insurance, as occasional travel between local offices will be required.
