CNC Miller (3, 4 & 5 Axis) - Bristol
£16.32 per hour (£31,800) + Overtime | Rotating Early/Late Shift
We're recruiting on behalf of a leading aerospace manufacturer in Bristol for an experienced CNC Miller to join their growing machining team. Working with modern 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC machining centres, you'll manufacture high-precision components in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
The Role
Set and operate 3, 4 & 5-axis CNC milling machines using Heidenhain and Fanuc controls.
Machine complex components from a range of aerospace-grade materials.
Read engineering drawings, route cards and set tooling/offsets for production.
Inspect components using micrometers, verniers and plug gauges, ensuring parts meet tight tolerances.
Achieve planned production times while maintaining delivery and quality targets.
Report quality concerns (NRFT), support continuous improvement and maintain excellent 5S standards.
Attend daily SQDCP meetings and work closely with Manufacturing Team Leaders.
Flexibility to work at the company's other Bristol site when required.
About You
Previous experience setting and operating 3, 4 or 5-axis CNC milling machines.
Strong knowledge of Heidenhain controls (Fanuc experience beneficial).
Confident interpreting engineering drawings and manufacturing precision components.
Experienced using a range of inspection equipment and working to tight tolerances.
Aerospace machining experience is advantageous but not essential.
Eligible to obtain BPSS Security Clearance.
