Class 2 Refuse Driver - Harrogate
£17.85 per hour | Tuesday-Friday, 6:00am-4:45pm | Temporary, immediate start
Fusion People are recruiting a Class 2 (Cat C) Refuse Driver for a busy waste and recycling operation in the Harrogate area.
You'll lead a small collection crew, drive an LGV (up to 32t), and muck in with loading bins across residential rounds, so this is a hands-on role, not driving only.
What you'll do:
Safely operate and complete daily checks on your vehicle
Collect refuse and recycling across your round
Load bins alongside the crew
Supervise your loaders and follow safe working practices (PPE, safe reversing, etc.)
Deliver a good standard of service to residentsWhat you'll need:
Category C (Class 2) licence
Valid Driver CPC
Digital tachograph card
Willingness to take on loader duties and work outdoors in all weathers
Reliable, safety-focused team playerPlease note: this is a safety-critical role subject to drug and alcohol testing.
