We are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join our Production team in a precision aerospace manufacturing environment. Working alongside machining teams on shift, you will play a vital role in ensuring only conforming products are supplied to customers through accurate inspection, measurement, and quality assurance activities.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure no non-conforming product escapes to customers.
Inspect aerospace components against engineering drawings, specifications, and 3D models.
Perform first-off, in-process, pre/post-subcontract, and final inspections.
Program and operate Aberlink CNC CMMs and optical measuring equipment, including Keyence systems.
Complete Process Control Plans and quality documentation.
Produce digital measurement reports for PPAP, FAIR, and continuous improvement activities.
Support Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies and calibration activities.
Raise accurate NCRs and assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions.
Drive improvements in inspection processes, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and compliance with Health & Safety requirements.Skills & Experience
Essential
Experience using manual inspection equipment and CNC CMMs.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Experience inspecting precision-machined components to tight tolerances.
Knowledge of quality systems within an AS/EN/JISQ 9100 environment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Competent in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently and as part of a team.Desirable
Aberlink offline programming experience.
Experience with optical measurement systems such as Keyence.
Aerospace manufacturing experience.About You
