Tax Advisor / Tax Manager - Corporate AND Personal Tax

An established accountancy firm who are quick growing in Nottingham, are seeking to hire into the following two positions. We spoke in detail with one of the firm’s Partners this week, who explained they have two key roles:

1) Personal Tax / Private Client Advisor - Hiring anywhere from Advisor to Manager / Senior Manager level

2) Corporate Tax Manager

This firm are proudly independent, a training firm who support professional qualifications and work hybrid, 3 days in the office, with generous holidays, health insurance and great opportunity for development.

Salaries are open within reason – the firm want to find the right person, so are confident they can put together a competitive salary and package for the right hire.

For these two roles, it’s important to note on the personal tax side that their clients can have significant wealth, not always seen in an independent firm client base, with billionaires and many millionaires, offering interesting and far-reaching advisory opportunities. JOB 1) Corporation Tax Manager

Personal Tax Client Advisor (CTA-Qualified)Join a friendly, long-established accountancy firm, seeking an exceptional CTA-Qualified (part-qualified OR ATT considered) Client Advisor to join our advisory team. The firm can consider people who are part qualified or perhaps ATT.

The role includes advising high-net-worth entrepreneurs and internationally mobile taxpayers on both their business and personal affairs. Our clients operate at the top of their fields, and we pride ourselves on delivering commercially astute, discreet, and technically excellent advice.

The Role

This is a client-facing advisory role focused on delivering sophisticated tax and strategic advice to entrepreneurial clients. You will work closely with business owners, supporting them across a broad range of matters including structuring, transactions, and personal tax planning.

This is not a compliance-heavy role. While you will provide oversight on compliance matters, your primary focus will be on high-value advisory work and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

Acting as a trusted advisor to a portfolio of high-net-worth entrepreneurial clients
Providing strategic tax advice across both corporate and personal matters
Leading client meetings and delivering clear, confident, and commercially grounded advice
Identifying planning opportunities and supporting clients through complex transactions
Overseeing (but not undertaking) compliance work to ensure quality and accuracy
Contributing to business development and growing client relationships
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, properly reviewed, and fully signed off within agreed budgets and timelines.What We Offer
