Talentmark are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician, to join our client based in Penryn Cornwall. Our client devlelops and applies technologies to recover valuable metals from mine waste, such as tailings, slag heaps, and waste dumps. It is a fantastic opportunity for someone to build upon their chemistry skills within a laboratory based role.
This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.

The Laboratory Technician Role:
Carrying out preparation of samples for analysis.
Performing analysis using XRF / ICP / other techniques as required.
Recording and reporting test results.
Maintaining good laboratory practice and the highest standards of housekeeping and safety.
Performing laboratory admin and housekeeping duties as directed.
Assisting with bench-scale metallurgical test work as required.Your Background:
Degree/HND/HNC in Chemistry, or relevant discipline.
Experience of working in a laboratory.
Experience with using ICP and / or XRF for chemical analysis.
