Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm (Travel time included within the working day)

Our client is a leading landscaping and grounds maintenance company working across the Midlands, delivering high-quality services to national house builders, local authorities, housing associations and management companies. The RoleAs a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a small team, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to an exceptional standard across a variety of commercial and residential sites.

Typical duties include:

Leading and supervising a grounds maintenance team

Pedestrian walk-behind and ride-on mowing

Strimming and brush cutter work

Hedge and tree pruning

Pond and lake maintenance

Weed control and spraying

Re-barking and general soft landscaping duties

Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained on site

Liaising with management to ensure projects are delivered on time

There may also be opportunities to support other divisions including landscaping, customer care, ecological projects and fencing.

What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years' experience in Grounds Maintenance

At least 1 year's experience leading or supervising a team

Full UK Driving Licence (essential)

Strong attention to detail and a positive work ethic

Ability to read and interpret site plans and landscape drawings

CSCS Card desirable (training can be provided if required)

A proactive and reliable approach with excellent communication skills
