An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Outreach, Day Services and Housing support services in Glasgow.
Our dynamic services currently supports autistic adults in a range of social, learning, and community-based activities, helping them build confidence, develop life skills, and enjoy meaningful experiences. Each person benefits from a personalised programme of support tailored to their unique needs, providing structure, consistency, and, for some, assistance with personal care and daily living tasks.
About the Role:
As an Autism Practitioner, you will support individuals to achieve their personal goals and live as independently as possible. Your responsibilities will include:
* Developing and implementing personalised support plans.
* Building positive, trusting relationships.
* Empowering individuals to make choices using their preferred communication methods.
* Supporting participation in activities such as local events, day trips, and holidays.
* Assisting with everyday tasks such as managing finances and maintaining their home.
* Promoting life skills and providing personal care where required.
* Partnering with stakeholders to ensure each person’s life goals and aspirations are always at the heart of their care.

Successful Applicants Should
* Hold a full UK manual driving licence.
* Be flexible to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
* Previous experience in a care or support setting is advantageous but not essential, full training is provided.
