SLR Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Installer – Water & Gas Tight Sealing Systems to join our client on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or develop a career within a specialist installation industry. Working on major infrastructure and energy projects across the UK, you’ll receive full training while developing valuable technical skills with genuine opportunities for long-term career progression.
No previous duct sealing experience is required. If you have a practical background, a strong work ethic and are keen to learn, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role
You’ll work as part of a specialist installation team carrying out the installation of water and gas-tight duct sealing systems on projects throughout the UK.
Working alongside experienced installers and a Leading Hand Installer, you’ll receive full on-the-job training while learning specialist installation techniques and building a long-term career within a growing business.
The role involves UK-wide travel, with accommodation and subsistence provided when working away.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the installation of water and gas-tight duct sealing systems.
* Prepare work areas, materials and equipment.
* Carry out installations in line with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
* Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
* Follow all health and safety procedures and site requirements.
* Assist with project documentation and photographic records.
* Work closely with senior installers and site management.
* Help manage materials, tools and equipment.
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
What We’re Looking For
* A practical, hands-on approach to work.
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
* Good attention to detail.
* Ability to work well as part of a team.
* Reliable, punctual and professional.
* Strong commitment to health and safety.
Desirable Experience & Qualifications
* CSCS Labourer or Skilled Worker Card.
* Experience within construction, utilities, engineering, mechanical or electrical environments.
* Experience using digital reporting systems such as OneTrace.
* Previous installation experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
