Locum Consultant in Paediatrics - UK-Wide Opportunities | Medacs Healthcare

Job Title: Locum Community Paediatric Consultant

Location: North Wales, UK

Rate: £95 - £110ph. PAYE only

Contract Type: Locum (short-term and long-term assignments available)

Details: Start ASAP, 2-3 months initially, but ongoing. Candidate requirements:

* Who are experienced community paediatricians and are particularly experienced in the area of Fostering and Adoption and child protection medicals. We would really like someone with Fostering and Adoption experience including 'adult health' assessments (they will understand what this means) would need to be able to do the adoption panel as well
* We'd be looking for someone for at least 5 sessions pw for the Fostering and Adoption work (to include Child Protection medicals) and up to 10 session depending on their experience in terms of also covering general community paediatrics as well.
* The job plan would depend on the sessions agreed but there would be no 'on-call' out of hours and it would be Mon - Fri.

About the Role

As a locum Consultant in Community Paediatrics, you'll provide expert care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services.

Responsibilities

Supporting junior doctors and clinical staff
Contributing to service development and audits

What We're Looking For

Essential:

MBBS or equivalent medical degree
Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
At least 6 months' previous NHS experience
A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
UK Right to Work
Strong communication and teamworking skills

Desirable:

CCT in Paediatrics and Neonatology (or within 6 months of achieving it)
