This is an excellent opportunity for experienced customer service professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and genuinely enjoy helping people during challenging situations.
You'll be joining a supportive team responsible for providing reassurance, practical guidance and exceptional customer service to residents affected by incidents, ensuring every enquiry is handled with empathy, professionalism and efficiency.
The Role of Temporary Community Incident & Support Advisor
As a Community Incident & Support Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for residents via telephone and email, providing clear advice, gathering information and ensuring incidents are escalated quickly and accurately.
No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys problem solving, communicating with a wide range of people and remaining calm under pressure.
Duties will include:
Acting as the first point of contact for resident enquiries
Handling telephone calls and email correspondence
Recording accurate information on internal systems
Assessing enquiries and escalating urgent issues where appropriate
Providing reassurance and support to vulnerable or distressed customers
Keeping residents updated throughout the incident process
Working closely with internal teams to ensure a coordinated response
Managing shared inboxes and responding within agreed service levels
Logging complaints, compliments and customer feedback
Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriatelyFor the role of Temporary Community Incident & Support Advisor We're looking for someone who enjoys helping people and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
You'll ideally have:
Previous experience dealing with complex, sensitive or emotionally challenging customer service enquiries, remaining calm, professional and empathetic at all times
Previous customer service or contact centre experience
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong listening and problem-solving abilities
A calm, empathetic and professional manner
The ability to prioritise a busy workload
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
Experience dealing with difficult or sensitive situations would be advantageous
Confidence working both independently and as part of a teamWhat's on Offer?
