Associate Quantity Surveyor
Oxford | Construction Consultancy | Exceptional Career Progression

Are you looking for a role where your career can accelerate, your ideas are valued, and your contribution genuinely makes a difference?

I'm working with an outstanding, people-first construction consultancy in Oxford that has built its reputation not only on delivering exceptional projects, but on investing in its people. They believe the best businesses are built by empowering talented individuals, giving them responsibility, listening to their ideas and providing clear opportunities to progress.

Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an Associate Quantity Surveyor or an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor who is ready to take the next step in their career.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership, mentor and grow a small team, build lasting client relationships and play a key role in the future success of the business. For someone with ambition, there is a clear pathway towards Partner level as the business continues to expand.

The Role

You'll work across a varied portfolio of construction projects, providing both pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services while helping to develop and strengthen the Oxford team.

Responsibilities

Deliver Quantity Surveying services from project inception through to completion.
Manage financial and contractual aspects of construction projects.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Mentor and support junior Quantity Surveyors.
Help develop and grow a high-performing Quantity Surveying team.
Contribute to the continued success and growth of the Oxford office.

About You

You'll ideally have:

Experience working within a construction consultancy.
Strong pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying experience.
Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.
The confidence to manage projects while supporting and developing others.
MRICS qualification is desirable but not essential.

Why Join?

This is far more than just another consultancy role.
You'll be joining a business where people genuinely enjoy coming to work. Collaboration is encouraged, achievements are recognised, and career progression isn't restricted by layers of hierarchy. If you have ambition, you'll be given every opportunity to fulfil it.

What you can expect:

A genuinely supportive and people-focused culture.
Clear and achievable career progression with a defined route to Partner.
The opportunity to help shape and grow a successful team.
Interesting, varied projects across multiple sectors.
Ongoing professional development and mentoring.
Hybrid working and an excellent work-life balance.
Competitive salary and benefits package.
If you're an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to step into an Associate position, or you're already operating at Associate level and want to join a consultancy where your career can truly flourish, I'd love to speak with you.

For a confidential discussion, contact Andreea Hudson at Aldwych Consulting.

Apply today and take the next step towards leadership with a consultancy that will invest in your future.
