SEND Teacher - Specialist Resource Provision
Tower Hamlets, East London
September 2026 - July 2027 | Full-Time
MPS1-MPS6 | £226-£268 per day (dependent on experience)
Exceptional opportunities in SEND don't come around often.
SANZA Teaching Agency is proud to partner with an outstanding, inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets to recruit a dedicated SEND Teacher for its expanding Specialist Resource Provision from September 2026.
Following the continued success of the provision, the school is opening a brand-new specialist class, creating an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to join an established and highly supportive team. If you're passionate about inclusive education and want to make a genuine impact every day, this could be the perfect next step.
Why This School Stands Out
This is a school where inclusion is woven into everything they do. The Specialist Resource Provision has quickly built an excellent reputation for delivering outstanding outcomes for children with complex SEND, thanks to exceptional leadership, expert staffing and a collaborative approach.
You'll benefit from:
A flourishing Specialist Resource Provision entering its third successful year
A purpose-built learning environment developed in partnership with Phoenix School
Small class sizes of no more than 10 pupils
Four experienced Teaching Assistants supporting every class
Collaborative planning and shared expertise with a parallel SEND Teacher
A welcoming mainstream primary with an inclusive ethos at its heart
Leadership that genuinely values staff wellbeing, development and work-life balance
This vacancy has arisen because the provision is expanding-not because of staff turnover-highlighting the school's continued growth and success.
The Role
As the class teacher, you'll lead a small group of pupils with complex SEND, delivering personalised learning experiences that enable every child to thrive.
Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering creative, highly differentiated lessons
Building a nurturing, structured classroom where pupils feel confident and secure
Working closely with four skilled Teaching Assistants to maximise pupil progress
Collaborating with the parallel SEND Teacher to share ideas and develop curriculum
Supporting communication, emotional regulation, independence and academic achievement
Helping shape the future of this expanding specialist provision
About You
We're keen to hear from teachers who:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience working with pupils with SEND in either mainstream or specialist settings
Are passionate about inclusive education and personalised learning
Are patient, creative and adaptable in their teaching approach
Enjoy working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Believe every child deserves the opportunity to succeed
Why Join This School?
Staff describe the school as welcoming, supportive and genuinely collaborative. Leaders are approachable, invest heavily in professional development and ensure staff have the resources they need to succeed.
Whether you're an experienced SEND specialist or looking to build on existing SEND experience, you'll be joining a school that values innovation, teamwork and high-quality inclusive practice.
Apply Today
If you're ready to make a meaningful difference in an exceptional specialist setting, we'd love to hear from you.
