My client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team, delivering specialist concrete repair and refurbishment works across the highways and clean water sector. As a Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects from inception through to completion, ensuring operational, commercial and safety objectives are achieved while maintaining excellent relationships with clients and stakeholders.

What you'll be doing
As a Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of multiple concrete repair and infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include:
·Managing projects from pre-construction through to completion.
·Leading and supporting Site Managers, Site Supervisors and site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on programme.
·Managing project budgets, costs and commercial performance alongside the commercial team.
·Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
·Coordinating labour, subcontractors, plant, materials and resources across multiple sites.
·Monitoring project progress and implementing solutions to overcome programme challenges.
·Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with contract specifications, drawings and quality standards.
·Reviewing and approving Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
·Monitoring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards across all projects.
·Producing project reports, forecasts and progress updates for senior management and clients.
·Managing procurement activities and ensuring materials and subcontractors are appointed in line with programme requirements.
·Supporting business development opportunities and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
·Driving continuous improvement across project delivery and operational performance.
What we're looking for
To be successful as a Project Manager, you should have:
·Previous experience managing civil engineering, highways or clean water infrastructure projects.
·A strong understanding of concrete repair and structural refurbishment techniques.
·Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
·Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience.
·Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
·The ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and RAMS.
·Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
·A proactive approach with a commitment to delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
Essential qualifications
·CSCS Card.
·SMSTS.
·EUSR (or willingness to obtain).
·Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable qualifications
·Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
·PRINCE2, APM or equivalent project management qualification.
·Temporary Works Coordinator.
·First Aid at Work.
