My client is looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their growing team, delivering specialist concrete repair and refurbishment works across the highways and clean water sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional who enjoys leading teams, maintaining high safety standards and delivering quality work on site.
As a Site Manager, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards while leading and supporting site teams.

What you'll be doing
As a Site Manager, you will oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
·Managing site supervisors, operatives and subcontractors while coordinating daily site activities.
·Representing my client at client meetings and liaising with key project stakeholders.
·Leading, motivating and supporting site teams to achieve excellent performance.
·Managing subcontractors and monitoring the quality of their work.
·Overseeing accurate site records, including site diaries, measurement sheets, labour and plant returns, goods received records and quality assurance documentation.
·Planning labour, materials, plant and equipment to ensure efficient project delivery.
·Reviewing and implementing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
·Delivering toolbox talks, site inductions and carrying out regular site inspections.
·Raising requisitions for materials, plant and personal protective equipment.
·Maintaining photographic records of project progress.
·Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with contract specifications, programme requirements and company procedures.
·Promoting good housekeeping and maintaining clean, organised working areas.
·Championing health, safety, environmental and quality standards by ensuring all SHEQ procedures are followed.
·Managing the day-to-day delivery of projects while maintaining productivity, quality, programme and commercial performance.
What we're looking for
To be successful as a Site Manager, you should have:
·Previous site management experience within the clean water, highways or civil engineering sector.
·Good knowledge of concrete repair techniques, including breakout and repair preparation, water pressure cleaning, hand-placed repairs, shutter repairs, level coats, fairing coats and protective coatings.
·The ability to read, understand and implement Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
·Experience managing site supervisors, operatives and subcontractors.
·Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors and project teams.
·Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Essential qualifications
·CSCS (achieved or working towards).
·EUSR.
·SMSTS.
·Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable qualifications
·SEATS (Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme).
·CITB Health & Safety Awareness.
·NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management or an equivalent construction-related qualification (achieved or working towards).
·First Aid at Work.
