Are you looking for a rewarding part-time Teaching Assistant role within a welcoming primary school?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a friendly and supportive Primary School in Usk to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 2. The school is committed to creating a positive learning environment where every child is encouraged to build confidence, achieve their best and develop a love of learning.
The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 2 on a part-time basis from September. The successful Teaching Assistant Level 2 will work closely with pupils across the primary age range, providing targeted support with reading and writing while working alongside the class teacher to help raise attainment and encourage pupil engagement.
The successful Teaching Assistant Level 2 will have:
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience working within a UK primary school
• Experience supporting children with reading and writing interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A caring, patient and proactive approach to supporting children
• The ability to work effectively as part of a school team
In return for the above you can expect to receive:
