Painter and Decorator

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited are a recruitment company that specialise in placing people within the repairs and maintenance industry.

An established property maintenance contractor is looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join their team working in and around Kingston. This is a temporary role for an initial 3 months, with potential to secure a permanent position.

The Role:

Carry out internal and external painting and decorating works within occupied and void residential properties
Prepare walls, ceilings, doors and woodwork ready for decoration
Apply emulsion, gloss and other finishes to a high standard
Carry out minor repairs and surface preparation before decorating
Complete all works safely, efficiently and to a high standard
Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
Deliver excellent customer service when working in tenants' homes
What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator
Experience working in occupied and void properties
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and quality of workmanship
Good communication and customer service skills
Good understanding of health and safety practices
Requirements:

Full UK driving licence
Own hand tools
