Estimator
Our client is a growing construction and refurbishment contractor delivering projects across a wide range of sectors, including commercial, residential, education, healthcare and hospitality. They are looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join their pre-construction team.
Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll play a key role in securing new business and preparing competitive tenders on a variety of construction projects.
Responsibilities

Preparing accurate tender estimates
Reviewing drawings and specifications
Producing take-offs and bills of quantities
Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor quotations
Preparing tender submissions
Identifying value engineering opportunities
Attending tender meetings
Liaising with clients and consultants
Managing multiple tenders simultaneously
Supporting pre-construction activities
Maintaining estimating databases
Assisting with bid strategy Requirements

Previous estimating experience within main contracting
Experience pricing refurbishment and new build projects
Strong numerical ability
Good commercial awareness
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work to deadlines
Full UK driving licence
