Quantity Surveyor
Location: Central London
Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 + Package
Quantity Surveyor
Our client is a well-established main contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality new build, refurbishment and fit-out projects across London and the Home Counties. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on prestigious projects within a collaborative business that places a strong emphasis on quality, client relationships and employee development.
Responsibilities
Managing project costs from inception through to final account
Procuring subcontractor packages
Preparing and issuing subcontract orders
Managing subcontractor accounts
Producing valuations and applications for payment
Preparing cost reports and forecasts
Identifying and managing project risks
Pricing variations and change control
Working closely with operational teams to maximise project profitability
Maintaining strong client relationships
Assisting with procurement strategies
Ensuring contractual compliance
Supporting successful project delivery Requirements
Experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a UK main contractor
Strong knowledge of JCT contracts
New build and refurbishment experience
Commercially astute
Excellent negotiation skills
Degree qualified (preferred)
Full UK driving licence Rewards & Benefits
