We are looking for a General Operative to join our team in Howden, East Yorkshire, supporting with the manufacturing of high-quality worktops and breakfast bars in line with approved specifications.
In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining production standards, continuously looking for ways to improve processes while ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements. You'll also take responsibility for machine output, product quality, and maintaining a clean and organised working environment.

Shift | 2 week rotating (40 hours)
Week 1 Monday - Wednesday 16:00 - 02:30, Thursday 15:30 - 01:30
Week 2 Monday - Wednesday 05:45 - 06:15, Thursday 05:45 - 05:45
What will you be doing as a General Operator:
Monitoring quality and performing detailed process quality checks in accordance with the area SOP and recording performance, quality and production data
Handling raw materials and labelling stock
Managing stock of pallets, ratchets and straps
Product confirmations on MES using SAP hand scanners
Removal of rejected components and ensuring the area is maintained to the agreed housekeeping standards
Use of FLT to deliver components to customers and to load / unload trailers
To support the breakfast bar packing process
To support the production processes when required
What do you need to qualify for the General Operator:
Production and / or manufacturing experience working in a fast-paced factory environment
Ability to read and understand manual handling risk assessments
MHE experience preferred but not essential
FLT experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given
