SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Coach - Gloucester
We are working with a welcoming, supportive and forward-thinking specialist school in Gloucester that is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Coach to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people while working within a nurturing environment that places both student and staff wellbeing at the heart of everything it does.
The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping students engage with learning, develop confidence, build positive relationships and achieve their individual goals; making this an incredibly rewarding role for someone who is patient, resilient and passionate about supporting young people.
The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff and the wider pastoral team to provide both academic and emotional support, helping to create a safe, structured and positive learning environment where every student can thrive.
Due to the nature of the role and travel between sites when required, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a school with a strong reputation, a collaborative team culture and a genuine commitment to investing in its staff and students.
Safeguarding:
Prospero Teaching is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Successful applicants will be required to complete all necessary safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS check and references.
