Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Haverhill, Suffolk

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a well-established engineering business specialising in the design and manufacture of high-quality electro-mechanical products. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a graduate or recently qualified engineer to develop their career within a technically challenging manufacturing environment.

Working closely with the production and engineering teams, you will provide hands-on engineering support, improve manufacturing processes, and help ensure products are delivered to the required standards of quality, reliability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide hands-on engineering support to the manufacturing team

* Ensure products are manufactured to specification and meet quality requirements

* Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process documentation

* Support continuous improvement activities to improve efficiency, reliability, and reduce manufacturing costs

* Assist with the introduction of new products and processes into manufacturing

* Support equipment, tooling, problem-solving activities, and quality improvements

Key Skills & Experience:

* Degree, HNC/HND, apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Production, or a related Engineering discipline

* Suitable for graduates or engineers who have recently completed an apprenticeship

* Understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail

* Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team

* Practical, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn and develop
