The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. Duties
* Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with early childhood education standards
* Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being at all times
* Foster a caring and inclusive environment that supports individual needs
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
* Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through personalised care
* Collaborate with colleagues to organise daily routines and special events
* Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and behaviour
* Assist with organising the nursery environment to ensure it is safe, clean, and stimulating
* Take on leadership responsibilities such as mentoring new staff or interns when required
* Drive company vehicles for nursery-related activities if necessary
Experience
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
* Proven management or leadership experience within a childcare environment is desirable
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating leadership qualities
* Valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children or supplies as needed
