We are currently recruiting on behalf of a successful and inclusive secondary school for a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to start immediately.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher.
* Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain engaged with their learning.
* Provide a positive and supportive learning environment.
* Follow the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies.
* Report back to teaching staff on student progress and lesson outcomes.
No lesson planning or marking is required.
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience working with young people in a school, college, youth work, coaching, or similar setting.
* Confident managing groups of students aged 11–16.
* Strong communication and classroom management skills.
* Flexible, professional, and adaptable.
* A genuine passion for supporting education.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable (or willingness to obtain one).
