Production Operative

Pertemps are looking for manufacturing/production candidates for our client in Telford

Job Title: Plating Area Loader / Wet area operative
Pay: £12.84 an hour
Work Schedule: 6-2/2-10 (Mon - Thursday) / (Fridays) 6-10/10-2 (34 Hours a week)

In this role, you will responsible for operating and maintaining Semi-automated plating lines to deposit a layer of copper onto PCBs (Printed Circuit Board )
The role involves managing chemical tanks (wet areas) to enhance components with copper.

Duties required as a Plating Area Loader / Wet area operative:
- Semi-automatic copper plating lines for adding copper to PCBs.
- Manual loading and unloading but automatic processing through an electroplated copper line.
- Some chemical handling required.

To be successful in this role, you must:
-Have experience in a manufacturing and/or production environment
-Be comfortable handling chemicals with appropriate PPE
-Willingness to learn plating processes and wet‑area operations
-Reliable, punctual and able to work independently once trained
-Basic understanding of machinery or automated equipment
