We are hiring exceptional Children’s Residential Support Workers to care for children and young people in a residential setting in Merseyside. This is a chance to offer stability, safety and encouragement to those who need it most. You will help them overcome challenges, grow in confidence and build brighter futures.
What you’ll receive:
Competitive pay – £14.25 to £16.35 per hour (including holiday pay)

About the role:
You will support children within a residential care environment. Your role will include building trusting relationships, promoting routines and life skills, supporting with emotional regulation and managing behaviours with consistency and care. This is a full time position.
This is a secure accommodation with education for young people aged 10 up to their 18th birthday. It consists of secure living areas with a shared education facility.
You will be required to support with:
Self-Harm
Alcohol and Substance misuse
Child Sexual Exploitation
Missing from Care
De-escalation and management of physically challenging behaviours.
What we’re looking for:
At least 6 months of full-time care experience in the past 3 years, including 3 months with children or young people
Be able to attend a 4 day FREE PRICE course Monday-Thursday 9-4.30
SUPPORTWORK - SM must be signed off for OFSTED
A Level 3 qualification in children’s services (or willingness to work towards one)
The right to work in the UK
A commitment to delivering care that is respectful, empathetic and team-focused
Experience working with highly challenging behaviours
Advantage - Experience in working in a children's secure unit
