We are recruiting for an ongoing Temporary Deburrer to join a well-established and respected precision engineering manufacturer based in Ferndown, Dorset.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy production team manufacturing high-quality precision engineered components for a range of demanding industries. The role is ongoing temporary, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate based on performance and business requirements.

The Role

As a Deburrer, you will be responsible for ensuring precision machined components are finished to the required specification before progressing to the next stage of production.

Your duties will include:

Deburring precision machined components using a variety of hand and power tools.
Removing sharp edges, burrs and surface imperfections to exact standards.
Working from engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions.
Carrying out visual inspections to ensure components meet quality requirements.
Handling a variety of metal components safely and efficiently.
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Working closely with the machining and quality teams to ensure production deadlines are achieved.
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who has:

Previous experience in a deburring, fettling or finishing role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (advantageous).
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Good manual dexterity and experience using hand tools.
A positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A reliable and flexible approach to work.
