An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join a highly respected Bath-based organisation embarking on a large-scale finance improvement programme.Working alongside a supportive and forward-thinking finance leadership team, you will take ownership of a diverse ledger while helping drive improvements in cash collection performance, reporting and customer engagement.
This role would suit somebody who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and having a genuine impact on business performance beyond simply chasing debt.
Responsibilities:
💷 Managing a complex ledger with a mixture of key accounts and high-volume customers
📊 Producing aged debt analysis and cash collection reporting
🤝 Developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers
🔍 Investigating payment disputes and identifying root causes
⚡ Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across receivables and cash management
📈 Contributing towards working capital improvement projects
What we are looking for:
✔ Previous Credit Control experience
✔ Strong communication and negotiation skills
✔ Ability to work independently and influence outcomes
✔ Experience within a fast-paced commercial environment
