Due to continued expansion, they are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive new business opportunities across the Midlands.
The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying, developing and winning new business opportunities with SMEs and mid-market organisations. You'll introduce a broad portfolio of managed IT, cloud and cyber security solutions, working closely with technical specialists to deliver tailored proposals that solve real business challenges.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional looking to join an organisation that values long-term relationships over transactional sales.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and develop new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking and referrals.
Build relationships with key decision-makers including Managing Directors, IT Managers and Business Owners.
Identify customer challenges and present tailored managed IT, cloud and cyber security solutions.
Manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement through to negotiation and close.
Work collaboratively with technical and pre-sales teams to produce winning proposals.
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and consistently achieve revenue targets.
Represent the business at networking events and customer meetings.About You
Previous experience in a Business Development Manager, New Business Sales or IT Sales role.
Experience selling Managed IT Services, Cloud, Microsoft Solutions, Cyber Security or other B2B technology solutions.
Strong new business development and relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
Self-motivated with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
