Sales Executive – New Business
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £30,000+ (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, Permanent
The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales Executive to join their growing team in Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, generating new business and developing a successful career in sales.
You'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing customer relationships, following up leads and supporting the sales process from initial enquiry through to quotation.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities.
* Contact prospective customers via telephone, email and LinkedIn.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
* Qualify leads and manage a healthy sales pipeline.
* Prepare quotations and support customers throughout the sales process.
* Keep CRM records accurate and up to date.
* Attend customer meetings, networking events and exhibitions where required.
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service.
* Monitor market activity and identify potential opportunities.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
* Previous experience in sales, business development, telesales or a customer-facing commercial role.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* A proactive, target-driven approach with a passion for winning new business.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities.
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Experience using a CRM system is advantageous.
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
Experience within sectors such as automotive, manufacturing, engineering, fleet, commercial vehicles, construction, industrial or other technical sales environments would be advantageous, although candidates from other business-to-business sales backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
