Job Title: Lead Water Treatment Pre-Commissioning Engineer
Location: Ilford, Greater London
Salary/Benefits: £30k - £50k + Training & Benefits
Due to recently winning new commercial and infrastructure contracts, a respected name within the Pre-Commissioning / Water Treatment industry is recruiting for reliable Engineer to join their team. You will be conducting full flushing and bsria compliant duties, ensuring to deliver a professional and thorough service to all clients. The ideal candidate will have robust industry technical knowledge and must be able to integrate smoothly into the company. There are extensive opportunities to develop within the company, for hardworking individuals. Experience / Qualifications:
* Strong track record working as a Water Treatment Pre-Commissioning Engineer
* Fully conversant in ACOP L8 and BSRIA guidelines
* It would be advantageous to hold experience of leading on projects
* Ideally will hold the tickets such as: CSCS, Confined Spaces and / or Safe Pass
* Willing to travel in line with company needs
* Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
* Professional manner
The Role:
* Conducting BSRIA compliant pre-commissioning cleans on existing heated and chilled, fan coil, AHU, LTHW and CHW systems
* Chemical dosing and chemistry testing
* Black-flushing and power-flushing
* Pipework and tank chlorinations
* Calculating flow rates and velocities
* Working from schematics
* Keeping accurate records of works undertaken and producing detailed technical reports
* Adhering to industry safety guidelines
* Leading other engineers on projects
* Providing regular updates to clients and technical advice
