A supportive domiciliary care company in Reading is actively recruiting for motivated Care Assistants to join their dedicated care team on full or part time positions, with flexible shift times.

* £15ph weekdays, £18ph at weekends

* 55p/mile mileage payment

This independent care company has a fantastic reputation in the local area with a large number of longstanding staff. Due to an increase in care packages, they are now looking to take on further care assistants and expand their team.

They have a variety of shift times on offer and can offer either full time or part time hours. They rota geographically so you will be working in the same approximate area of Reading for each call to reduce travel time between each call.

Extensive training and support will be provided from experienced Care Assistants and senior staff members to new Care Assistants joining the care team. Full training and inductions will be a staple no matter the experience level of any new carers joining them, along with shadowing shifts.

Main duties for Care Assistants are as follows:

* Manual handling and assisting clients to get up and move around their home

* Providing personal care such as assisting with washing, dressing and using the toilet

* Assisting with medication

* Assisting clients with food and drink

Desirable for Care Assistants:

* Previous experience as a Care Assistant within a homecare or care home setting
