Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Class 2 Driver on behalf of one of our clients.
This role has been created to support a significant new customer contract, and the successful candidate will be dedicated exclusively to servicing this account, playing a key role in ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Safey and efficiently complete scheduled deliveries and collections in line with customer requirements.
Act as the dedicated driver supporting a key new contract, maintaining high standards of service and professionalism.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure the vehicle remains clean, safe and roadworthy.
Load, secure and unload goods in accordance with company procedures.
Complete all delivery paperwork accurately and report any issues promptly.
Adhere to all relevant road traffic legislation, driver hours regulations and company policies.
Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and colleagues
Skills and Qualifications:
Valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
Valid driver CPC qualification card.
Digital tachograph card.
Strong understanding of driver compliance and road safety requirements.
Professional attitude with excellent customer service skills.
Previous multi drop or contact distribution experience would be advantageous
