Are you an experienced Finance Administrator or Finance Officer looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting for a temporary Finance Officer to join a busy public sector organisation, supporting a friendly and collaborative team within an education-focused service.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong finance administration skills who enjoys working with data, budgets and financial processes in a varied role.
The Role
You'll support the Business and Finance function by ensuring financial information is processed accurately and efficiently while providing administrative support across the wider team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Processing and maintaining financial records and transactions
Preparing budget reports and financial information
Reconciling and processing invoices
Monitoring financial and performance data, investigating any discrepancies
Maintaining accurate records in line with policies and procedures
Supporting wider administrative and business support activities when required
Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders in a professional mannerAbout You
We're looking for someone who has:
Previous experience within a finance or accounts administration role
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Experience of processing invoices, reconciliations and financial records
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
The ability to prioritise a busy workload and work independently
Excellent communication and organisational skillsWhat's on Offer

Hybrid working (5 days in office every fortnight)
