Chef de Partie / Junior Sous Chef
Near Winchester, Hampshire | 40 Hours per Week | Excellent Tips & Genuine Work-Life Balance

We're working with a highly regarded independent, fresh food hospitality business near Winchester that's looking to recruit a talented Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef to join its friendly and passionate kitchen team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fresh food kitchen where everything is prepared from scratch using high-quality, seasonal ingredients sourced from trusted local suppliers. Serving breakfast, brunch, lunch and only 2 evening services, this is a varied role that offers creativity, consistency, excellent working environment and a great work life balance with it being mainly daytimes and a 40 hour week.

Whether you're an experienced Chef de Partie ready to take the next step or an established Junior Sous looking for a fresh challenge, this role offers genuine career development within a supportive team.

What's on Offer

Genuine 40-hour working week.
Mainly daytimes with only 2 evenings per week
Approximately £500 per month in tips.
28 days' holiday.
Additional 1 weeks paid closure on top of your annual leave entitlement.
Christmas Day off, plus either Christmas Eve or Boxing Day.
A supportive and professional working environment.
Excellent work-life balance.
Opportunity to grow within a respected independent business. The Role
As part of a close-knit brigade, you'll be responsible for:

Preparing and cooking fresh, seasonal dishes to a consistently high standard.
Running your own section during service.
Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations.
Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards.
Assisting with menu development and daily specials. What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with chefs who:

Have experience in a quality fresh food kitchen.
Are currently working as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef or similar level
Have shown stability and commitment in previous roles (ideally remaining with employers for two years or more).
Are organised, reliable and enjoy working as part of a team.
Take pride in producing quality food using fresh ingredients.
Have a positive attitude and are eager to continue developing their career. Please note: Unfortunately, live-in accommodation is not available.
