SF Partners are delighted to be working on an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Project Accountant role within a leading Coventry based business.
Working closely with Project Managers and operational teams, you'll support the financial performance of multiple projects, providing insight, challenge and financial control from tender stage through to project completion.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Project Managers to monitor project performance and profitability.
Prepare project forecasts, budgets and financial reports.
Analyse variances and provide commercial insight.
Ensure accurate project costing and revenue recognition.
Monitor WIP, cash flow, billing and working capital.
Support tender reviews and commercial decision-making.
Maintain strong financial controls and reporting standards.
Work closely with operational teams.
About You
You'll have experience within a project-based finance role, ideally in construction, engineering or a similar environment.
You'll also have:
Strong project accounting and commercial finance experience.
Budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis skills.
Knowledge of revenue recognition and project costing.
Strong Excel and ERP system experience.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
