Our client, engaged in delivering major highway projects, is currently seeking a Resident Engineer / Site Supervisor to join their team for a Road Scheme in Co Tipperary, Ireland. This exciting 4.5km road construction project has 12 months remaining, with a start date at the end of July or beginning of August. This role is offered as a fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension on other projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the works on behalf of the Employer's team
Work with the Employer's Representative and other site team members
Respond to contract RFI's, Material Acceptances, Testing Certificates, etc.
Inspect critical work items, issue NCR's, and sign-off on completed works
Support the Senior Resident Engineer in preparing monthly contractor payment valuations
Assist in responding to contract claims and other dispute items
Attend monthly contractor progress meetings
Job Requirements:
Experience as a Site Supervisor, particularly in highway projects
Familiarity with NEC contracts and Irish Public Works (or UK equivalent)
Previous experience in road construction projects
Ability to supervise and work with a team of engineers
Strong communication and organisational skills
