Electrical Maintenance Engineer | Yorkshire (DN3, WF9 & S63) | £54,000 OTE (Basic + Premium + Bonus) | Continental Shifts
Meridian Business Support are recruiting for multiple Electrical Maintenance Engineers on behalf of a leading UK retailer. Due to continued growth, exciting opportunities are available across multiple Yorkshire sites.
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing automated warehouse equipment and systems, ensuring operations run safely, efficiently and reliably 24/7.
Key responsibilities:
Fault-find, diagnose and repair PLC-controlled equipment to minimise downtime.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance on pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors and robotic systems.
Maintain warehouse plant, materials handling equipment and building management systems.
Respond to equipment failures, investigate issues and liaise with relevant teams.
Complete health and safety checks, inspections, risk assessments and accident investigations.
Maintain organised workshops, stores, spares and designated maintenance areas.
Work safely at heights of up to 20m, with appropriate training provided.To be successful in this Electrical Maintenance Engineer role, you will have:
An apprentice trained craft certificate
Experience of working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
A proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Ability to prioritise and manage your own workload
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Good computer skills
Have a flexible approach to working hoursBenefits and working environment
