Business Development Executive Witham, Essex £40,000-£42,000 + OTE £60,000-£65,000 Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
Our client is looking for a Business Development Executive to support the growth of our business by developing client relationships, generating opportunities, and progressing enquiries through to new business success
The role combines business development, client engagement, and account management, working closely with both clients and internal teams to drive commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities
Build relationships with new and existing clients to promote our service offering
Manage and progress quoted opportunities through regular follow up
Identify opportunities to introduce additional services to existing clients
Re-engage dormant and underdeveloped client accounts
Work closely with internal teams to ensure services are correctly scoped and delivered
Attend client meetings and respond to commercial enquiries
Maintain accurate records and provide regular activity and pipeline updates
Support continuous improvement and company quality standards
What We're Looking For
Experience in business development, account management, sales support or a similar client facing role
Strong communication and relationship building skills
Commercially minded with a proactive approach to generating opportunities
Well organised with the ability to manage multiple activities and priorities
Confident working collaboratively across different teams
Good IT skills and experience using CRM systems
Professional, driven and customer focusedBenefits
