Workshop Controller

We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Controller to join our client's reputable dealership in Bishop's Stortford, Essex. This position offers a strategic managerial opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee workshop operations, lead a team of technicians, and deliver exceptional service standards. Uncapped earning potential with an OTE of £43,000+
Working Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm

Managing and supervising a team of eight technicians to ensure efficient workflow
Allocating job cards and prioritising tasks according to customer deadlines
Monitoring workshop productivity and implementing process improvements
Ensuring high standards of quality control and customer satisfaction as a Workshop Controller
Maintaining effective communication between service advisors, technicians, and customers
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop
Organising daily workshop operations and supporting team developmentRequirements of a Workshop Controller:

Proven experience as a Workshop Controller or in a similar supervisory role within the automotive industry
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Excellent understanding of automotive repair processes and workshop management
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing multiple tasks
Positive attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
