About the Role
We are currently seeking Packing Operators to join a busy production and packing team in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment.
As a Packing Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring products are packed to the highest quality standards while maintaining compliance with operational procedures and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the manual packing of filled vial products.
Adhere to gowning and cleaning procedures within the packing area.
Assist with material handling and the transfer of materials into production areas.
Monitor stock levels and ensure all materials are within expiry dates.
Carry out cleaning and routine maintenance of equipment and work areas.
Support packaging, labelling, line clearance, and in-process weight check activities.
Identify and report any quality or process non-conformances to the relevant team leaders.
Complete production documentation accurately and in line with data integrity requirements.
Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, and compliance at all times.
Shift Pattern
Monday to Friday
Rotating shift pattern:
07:00 - 15:00
15:00 - 23:00
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
GCSE-level Maths and English (or equivalent).
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to maintain concentration over extended periods.
Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Desirable Experience
Previous experience in a pharmaceutical, food production, manufacturing, or other regulated environment.
Basic understanding of GMP, GDP, and Data Integrity principles.
Experience following standard operating procedures and quality processes.
Key Skills
Excellent attention to detail
Consistency and accuracy
High levels of focus and concentration
Self-motivated and dependable
Ability to follow processes and procedures
