Job Requirements
Manage the day-to-day performance and delivery of design consultants, ensuring design activities are completed to programme, quality, and budget requirements.
Oversee the development and delivery of outline and detailed design, ensuring key project milestones, planning submissions, and approvals are achieved.
Coordinate procurement activities, including preparing tender documentation and supporting contract award and mobilisation of design services.
Monitor project performance through programme, commercial, risk, and governance management, providing regular progress reporting.
Essential Experience
Proven experience managing multidisciplinary design consultants on complex infrastructure or construction, rail, highways or active travel infrastructure projects.
Demonstrable experience delivering projects through outline and detailed design phases, including planning submissions and technical approvals.
Experience managing project programmes, budgets, risks, and commercial performance to achieve successful project outcomes.
Experience coordinating procurement activities, including the preparation of tender documentation and contract mobilisation.
Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to work collaboratively across project teams, consultants, contractors, and external organisations.
